We are a non-profit organization based in Bakersfield, dedicated to providing STEM awareness through robotics. Our mission is to help provide aspiring students with an outlet to develop strong engineering skills and build a community through VEX Robotics
Here at Bakersfield Robotics, our mission is to extend our reach to students who are hoping to learn more about robotics in order to provide them with an outlet to hone skills, expand knowledge, and nurture interest so they are able to reach their full potential.

Create a safe and welcoming space where students can learn and explore robotics.
Empower participants with hands-on engineering experience through real-world challenges.
Inspire our community by highlighting opportunities in engineering, technology, and innovation.
Develop high-performing robots that compete at the regional and national level.
The Robotics Summer Camp is a one-week camp for 4th-8th grade students from beginner to advanced groups. The camp is led by award winning seasoned instructors who will help prepare students for competition. Throughout the week students will learn how to build, program, and see their robots in action. T-shirts, snacks and drinks will be accommodated by the camp.

The VEX IQ team is composed of the children who attend and perform adequately doing the summer camp.
During the VEX IQ season, the selected individuals will meet with our team leader.
The children will be able to build more advanced robots, applying what they learned during the summer camp and extending that knowledge further.
Participants part of the VEX IQ team will compete in the VEX IQ competitions and conditioning them to a more competitive robotic environment.

During the VEX IQ season our two teams 1744A and 1744B meet and design for the upcoming season. The two teams brainstorm and research together and are broken up into two groups to follow the design that stood out to them the most.

Bakersfield Robotics is a non-profit organization student-led robotic program. Our mission is to spread and introduce robotics to children from 4th-8th grade and this year we will be starting a high school team. Below are the summary of what we offer;
Vex-IQ and V5 - Pre-Season
We build a team of kids
During this period the team will be designing, testing and building a new robot to meet the parameters and achieve the objectives of that season’s game.
Vex-IQ and V5 - Competition Season
We will be traveling in and around SoCal and join tournaments to compete with other teams
Summer camps (Grade 4th-8th)
We teach basic robotic fundamentals
Kids will be in teams and will learn to build and program their robots
At the End of the the camp robotic competition is held
There are kids that are interested in robotics but never had any real hands-on learning. Bakersfield Robotic hopes to bring that to them. We are looking for support to finance our teams. We are needing more Vex IQ & V5 competition kits, materials, field and tournament fees.
